Dr. Hashim Ibrahim

Dr. Hashim Ibrahim is originally from Zimbabwe. He is a father and has four children. His professional history consists of Primary degree MBChB obtained in Zimbabwe in 1984. He graduated with a Post graduate Masters in Medicine in 2000. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2003. He has been practicing in General practice during the period 1987 to 1995 then again General Practice 2002 – Present. He has a keen interest in all aspects of general medicine.

Dr Shahead Chowdhury

MBBS, PhD, FRACGP

Dr. Shahead Chowdhury’s interesting bio briefly is as follows:

  • He was awarded his medical degree from one of the top ranked medical schools in Bangladesh.
  • He has a keen interest in Diabetes and completed his PhD in Diabetes at Kobe University School of Medicine in Japan before relocating to Queensland 18 years ago with his family (wife and two daughters).
  • He was working at James Cook University for 3 years as an Australian Research Council fellow, before starting his medical career at the Townsville Hospital Health Services at various levels.
  • He completed his GP training and was awarded as a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2018.
  • Apart from Diabetes, Dr Chowdhury has vast experience in paediatrics, men’s health, indigenous health and Veteran Affairs Health.
